WE'RE ADOPTING Y'ALL

We are overjoyed, excited, and teary-eyed as we finally announce: We are ADOPTING from China!!!

We would love for you to join us on this journey as we respond to God's calling in our lives! We know you probably have many questions (Who? When? Why?), and those will be answered in a later blog post. For now, we just ask that you pray! Pray for us, and our sweet future baby boy or girl. Pray for his or her family. Pray that those around us will be open to this amazing gift. We challenge you to tell your kids about the true meaning of adoption. Our prayer right now is that God will open YOUR heart (yes you), and that you will be touched by this amazing blessing. We cant wait to have a child: The only difference is he or she is growing in our HEARTS and not mom's belly! 

We had adoption announcement photos made by the very talented Jayson Mullen Design & Photography! Kristin had really been wanting to get some announcement photos done, and Jayson messaged her one day out of the blue asking for a family session. She asked him if they could do a "trade" and it all worked out perfectly! God definitely put him in our life at the perfect time! Here are a few of our favs, thank you Jayson! 


During our session, Jayson showed us this picture on the back of his camera and I (Kristin) just started crying. For someone who has battled infertility, these are the "maternity" photos that I never got to have. They mean the world to us... Haha! WORLD, get it? See, I can be funny...


     This is one of the many verses we cling to...

    My heart is full with love and anticipation for your blessing. I am simply in awe of your strength and faith. I pray for you and Casey but most of all I shall pray fRedeemerlessing that is to be...your baby. I cannot wait to follow your journey and even more exciting is the day we see you too board the plan back home with your bundle of sunshine.

    I am teary eyed already just imaging the day you two meet your sweet angel and even more so thinking of the day your family will finally be complete. Praise God our Redeemer. Hallelujah!

    You know that phrase "You are glowing" Well guess what YOU ARE, both of you, glowing with JOY and I know you are probably like "Man, Megan has commented like 4 places today, little much ;) " but I just can't help my excitement about your adoption. I am so glad God choose this journey for you and that a child is "growing" in your heart. Much LOVE and prayers for all three of you. PS Can I have dibs on family photo sesh, two gingers with a darked haired sweet bebe' dressed in ORANGE YES PLEASE :)

    I guess my comment didn't post...I'll say it again. You two are adorable and I am so very happy for you! We are also adopting from China and walking the same road as you. Although a bit further behind you. I'm smiling! :)
